Ronnie died in a airplane (T-33 Trainer Jet) on 14 July 1956.  He flew over the alfaia field where we (Dad, Kathy, Annette, Mary) were bailing hay.  He tipped his wing,  we all waved and he was gone.  It took me a long time to get over this.
